A spam trigger is something that, when said by a business owner, can cause a potential customer to view them as a spammer.

Some common spam triggers are asking for money upfront, asking for contact information before providing any value, and incessant promotion of one’s business without taking a break.

This can be via email, a website, or social media to name a few.
